iPhone App Store Parody

In case you are unhappy with the smug iPhone evangelists and their seeming plethora of "useful" apps you may get some comfort from this parody of an iPhone ad recently done in the US.

Sonos Controller Updates - much slicker

Sonos have just released a new version of their Sonos controller and it is a vast improvement over the old model. It has a very iPhone-like touch screen eith just the feel it to in scrolling and selecting - which is interesting because the Sonos iPhone/iPod Touch app has been around for almost a year now and they must have spent a long time playing with that interface and mimicking it.

It comes with a cradle which is a blessed relief (so now we don't have to add £30 of plastic per controller onto each quote which was an egregious waste of money) and is altogether much neater.

I would recommend an upgrade for all existing users with one exception - the new controller does not have the rubbery water resistance of the old one so best to keep a couple of the originals in hand for the garden and bathroom zones.
