Face to Face Digital was commissioned to draw up a full package of wiring plans for the telephone, data and AV wiring in this complete renovation of a Maida Vale maisonette.
Starting with the easy-to-use and cost effective Sonos system for multi-room audio we added elements to increase reliability and flexibility such as a NAS (network attached storage device) which will protect the family's media files and documents from common failures. We integrated this into a full structured cabling plan which allowed us to patch the signals from one Sky box to other locations over Cat5e so that programmes recorded in the living room can be watched in the Master Bedroom.
The house has cabling in each room, discretely placed but allowing a degree of future-proofing and the ability to change a bedroom into a study or to add a TV for a few days to comfort a child with a passing cold.
