The stand-out feature of this installation was the creation of a bespoke automated TV lift that rises from a flat position hidden inside a coffee table. This allows the clients to sit on a sofa towards the back of this formal room and enjoy full 5.1 surround sound from the centre speaker integrated into the TV lift and the discrete satellite speakers placed on thin column mounts in the corners of the room.
Face to Face Digital also ran new cables in order to move their system to the a new location in their home, upgraded them to Sky HD and provided a custom Nevo remote control for ease of use. Their digital media files are synchronised with their house in the country via a custom backup and replication script so that the music files that are available in London are also playable at the touch of a button at the weekends. Through the Apple TV they have one click access to rental or purchase of the latest films and TV shows as well as a slideshow of all of their family photographs.
